FAQ

  • What kind of machines don't you repair?

    Elna brand machines

    Shark brand machines

    Embroidery machines

    Patching machines

Husqvarna/Viking machines (Exceptions: Husqvarna Viking E10)

    Singer model Touch and Sew.

It is always best to reach out by phone or email before coming in with your machine, so you can be sure we can service it for you.

  • What kind of services do you offer?

A.B. Sewing repairs industrial and domestic sewing machines, industrial and domestic serger/overlock machines, industrial coverstitch machines, and other types of sewing machines. We sharpen scissors and serger blades. We sell thread, needles, and other sewing accessories and notions. We have many machine parts for sale as well, so if you are looking for something specific, please contact us.

  • How does sewing machine servicing work?

Our in shop service works as a walk in. You bring your machine or scissors in, and you will be put at the end of a queue. It usually takes 10 days (contact us for current wait times!) until we are able to get to your machine and service it (scissors take less time). Then, we will call you to let you know to pick up your machine. We do not service machines on the spot.

  • Do you do tailoring?

We do not do tailoring. We are a sewing machine repair shop. However, if you are looking to get something repaired or tailored, contact us, and we can send you in the direction of a local business that will be able to help you!

  • How long have you been repairing sewing machines?

Our technician has been working on sewing machines for almost 40 years. We have been in our current location since 2018.
